Halloween Event
Catch the ghost during races, collect Spectrol and trade it for a Halloween car, mascots and sceneries.
Overview
During the event, a ghost shows up in races. Each catch is worth Spectrol, the event currency, which you trade for a car, two mascots and two Halloween sceneries.
How to take part
The ghost can show up during races: it crosses the track strip, stops halfway to let out a laugh and moves on. Click it while it passes to catch it.
- Each catch is worth 1 Spectrol, and the confirmation appears as +1 Spectrol over the track.
- You can catch the ghost once per race.
- It doesn't come in every race: sometimes it appears in several races in a row, sometimes it skips one. Keep an eye on the track.
- There is a limit of 100 catches per day. The day resets at 00:00 UTC (21:00 Brasília time). A ghost that passes without being caught doesn't count.
- The pumpkin icon on the HUD shows that the event is active. Hover over it to see the time left and click it to open this page.
The ghost does not appear in Piloted Mode. Spectrol needs room in the Inventory: without a Spectrol stack or a free slot, the Inventory full warning appears instead of the +1, the ghost flees and that race's catch is lost.
Spectrol, the event currency
Ghostly fuel dropped by the Halloween ghost. Event currency.
All your Spectrol sits in a single stack in the in-game Inventory, which takes up just one slot, and trades are paid from that Inventory. Spectrol in your Steam Inventory must come back to the game before you can spend it.
Spectrol is an [M] item: it can be sent to the Steam Inventory and sold on the Steam Community Market. It can also be bought from other players there.

After the event ends
- The ghost stops appearing in races.
- The Spectrol you collected stays in your Inventory.
- The rewards stay in the game and can be traded for Spectrol at any time.
- If you are short on Spectrol, you can buy the currency from other players on the Steam Community Market.
- Everything you unlocked stays yours.
