DTR Coin

What is DTR Coin?
A special Desk Top Racer coin used in game activities.
Every crate has a 10% chance to award DTR Coin instead of equipment. A crate gives only one item. The coin can appear at every stage; ten crates do not guarantee a coin.
Coins from crates sit together in a single stack in the in-game Inventory: the card shows the amount before the name and takes up just one slot, however many you have. DTR Coin is an [M] consumable with no stats, equipment rarity or upgrades. It cannot be equipped, sold for Credit, dismantled or donated to the Collection.
Coins in-game and on Steam
You can send DTR Coin to your Steam Inventory and trade it on the Community Market. When sending or returning, choose the amount: type the number or use MAX, up to 999 coins per transfer.
After you send coins to Steam, returning coins to the game is locked for 10 minutes, counted from your last transfer. After that, you can bring back any available amount.
Only coins in your local Inventory can pay for activities. Coins on Steam or inside unopened crates are not available to play yet.

DTR Coin from missions
Weekly Missions pay DTR Coin for every mission you claim. This coin is worth the same as the one from crates in every activity, but it is in-game only: it has no [M], cannot be sent to the Steam Inventory and is not traded on the Market.
It sits in a stack of its own, in another Inventory slot. The first coin you receive needs a free slot; the following ones add to the same stack.
When you pay for an activity, the game spends mission coins first and only then [M] coins. The balance shown in each activity is the sum of the two stacks.
Which activities can I use it in?
Each play in the Mascot Machine and in Plincar uses one local DTR Coin. In Plincar, any available free spins are used first. In TrackCards, each copy bought with Evolve costs 1 DTR Coin. In Part Fusion, the cost depends on the rarity of the parts. In the Workshop, each neon application costs 20 DTR Coin and each plate, 50. The Lighthouse Bay, Broken Moon and Grand Prix Circuit sceneries cost 100 DTR Coin each to unlock.
DTR Coin is a currency for game activities. This guide brings together its acquisition, inventory and market rules, independently of the activity that uses it.
